Recipe: Vegan Queso Dip

Vegan Queso Dip
1 tablespoon vegan margarine
1 chopped yellow onion
1 tablespoon gluten-free flour
1¼ cups So Delicious Dairy-Free Unsweetened Cashewmilk
1 cup So Delicious Dairy-Free Cheddar Jack Shreds
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
½ teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 chopped green onion
1 chopped tomato
1 cup cilantro leaves
1 jalapeño, chopped (remove seeds for a milder dip)
1 bag corn tortilla chips
- In a saucepan, combine vegan margarine and chopped yellow onion until thoroughly heated. Add gluten-free flour on low heat, stirring for 3 minutes, until fully combined.
- Add So Delicious Dairy-Free Unsweetened Cashewmilk and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in So Delicious Dairy-Free Cheddar Jack Shreds until fully melted. Then add cayenne pepper, smoked paprika and sea salt.
- Garnish with sliced green onion, chopped tomato, fresh cilantro and jalapeños. Serve warm with tortilla chips and enjoy with your friends.
